Suffolk [Great Britain] on 3 June 1778.³ He was created 1st Baron Thurlow of Thurlow, co. Suffolk [Great Britain] on 12 June 1792, with a special rmainder to his nephews.³ On his death his barony of Thurlow of 1778 expired.²

     Maria Thurlow was born illegitimately.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Thurlow, 1st Baron Thurlow of Thurlow.² She married Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt., son of Sir William Augustus Cunynghame of Milncraig, 4th Bt. and Frances Myrton, in 1801.¹ She died on 21 February 1816.¹
     From 1801, her married name became Cunynghame.¹

     Edward Thurlow Cunynghame was born on 23 September 1801.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Maria Thurlow.² He died in 1825.¹

     Bridget Culverwell was born in 1938.² She married Royce Verdon-Roe, son of Sir Edwin Alliott Verdon-Roe and Mildred Elizabeth Kirk.¹ She died on 2 April 2012.^2,3

     Sir Edward Augustus Cunynghame of Milncraig, 7th Bt. was born in January 1839.¹ He was the son of Sir David Thurlow Cunynghame of Milncraig, 6th Bt. and Anne Meade.² He died on 24 January 1877, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 32nd Foot.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Cunynghame, of Milncraig, co. Ayr [N.S., 1702] on 12 November 1869.¹ In 1874 he filed bankruptcy.³
