     Karl III Wilhelm Markgraf von Baden-Durlach was born on 17 January 1679 at Durlach, GermanyG.2 He was the son of Friedrich VII Magnus Markgraf von Baden-Durlach and Auguste Marie Prinzessin von Holstein-Gottorp.1 He married Magdalena Wilhelmina von Württemberg, daughter of Wilhelm Ludwig Herzog von Württemberg and Magdalene Sibylle Landgravine von Hessen-Darmstadt, on 27 June 1697.2 He and Magdalena Wilhelmina von Württemberg were separated in 1715.2 He died on 12 May 1738 at age 59 at Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1,2
     He succeeded as the Markgraf von Baden-Durlach in 1709.1

     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach in 1662.
