  • We successfully completed the practical part of the Goal2Include project! Over the past period, we conducted football activities and games in: Stip, Skopje, Valandovo, Tetovo, and Kavadarci, where a total of around 500 participants joined, 400 of whom were girls.  This is a positive outcome that fulfills our goal – promoting education through football, increasing the popularity of women’s football, and enhancing inclusion for young girls and women from marginalized communities. Project partners include HNK Giruca, PLAY International, and Champions Factory.

  • “It was a challenge for me to be part of the SUDECU program because the project offers many new knowledge and skills, peer learning, meeting new people, developing new ideas, and implementing them. I am especially proud to participate in a project that brings about positive changes in society while strengthening sustainability and democracy,” says Zlatica. According to her, peer education allows adults to connect with people of similar age and interests, enhancing social support and broadening their network of acquaintances. Peers can exchange personal experiences and knowledge, which can be inspiring and beneficial in the learning process. The SUDECU program is supported by Zurich University of Teacher Education and funded by the Charity Fund of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland PHZH International Projects in Education.  #competencedevelopment #youth #parents #democracy #culture #sustainable #skillsdevelopment #ReferenceFrameworkofCompetencesforDemocraticCulture (RFCDC)

  • „One of the key reasons why peer learning is so important is that mutual teaching among peers fosters the development of social and emotional skills. Each participant has the opportunity to be both a teacher and a student, which creates greater connection and understanding. I applied to the SUDECU project to share knowledge and experiences with my peers and to learn new skills, as we all have unique perspectives. In doing so, I hope to contribute not only to my personal development but also to the collective success and progress of my peers. I am grateful to TAKT for investing in innovative concepts and sustainable democratic culture,” says Andrej. According to Andrej, peer education represents a process in which individuals of similar age, who share common life experiences and challenges, learn from each other through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and skills. The SUDECU program is supported by Zurich University of Teacher Education and funded by the Charity Fonds of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland PHZH International Projects in Education. #competencedevelopment #youth #parents #democracy #culture #sustainable #skillsdevelopment #ReferenceFrameworkofCompetencesforDemocraticCulture (RFCDC)

  • Gender-based violence in sports has become a critical issue across Europe, revealing gaps in knowledge, leadership, and policy. The “Sport GVP” project highlights and describes the specific barriers faced by North Macedonia, Denmark, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy, encouraging solutions for safer sports environments. Macedonia has numerous deficiencies that hinder the participation of women and minorities in sports. Many athletes are not aware of their rights or the channels for reporting abuse, and they also lack trust in the existing mechanisms for reporting gender-based violence in sports. Urgent systemic change is needed with comprehensive solutions, such as:  - Establishing secure, anonymous reporting systems to protect athletes from retaliation; - Awareness campaigns about the importance of reporting gender-based violence in and through sports;  - Inclusivity initiatives in sports that ensure equal opportunities and support for all athletes. Only through collective efforts can we begin to eradicate gender-based violence in and through sports, ensuring that athletes, regardless of gender, can participate safely and with dignity. More information about the project can be found at: https://lnkd.in/deVAasnM We are proud that TAKT is the author of this expert article that addresses challenges and offers solutions for inclusivity in sports. Partners in the project alongside TAKT include: EDEX – Educational Excellence Corporation Limited, Cyprus, ISCA – International Sport and Culture Association, Denmark, CESIE, Italy, KMOP – Education & Innovation Hub, Greece, and CARDET – Centre for the Advancement of Research in Educational Technology Ltd, Cyprus. The project is supported by Erasmus+ Sport Cooperation Partnerships.  #sport #gender #preventinggenderviolence #GVP #genderequality

  • 🧠❤️One of the most important things we can do to protect our mental health is to introduce regular physical activity into everyday life. 🏃🏻♀️ 📈😊 Numerous studies say that even 15 minutes of physical activity a day can contribute to improving mood. Our body and mind are connected, so taking care of ourselves helps us physically as well as mentally. By walking, jogging, cycling or practicing a certain sport, the hormone of happiness is released, which reduces the feeling of stress. We feel happier, more focused, with better sleep. 😁😴 ❗️On #WorldMentalHealthDay, we raise awareness of this condition by sending the message that we can live more peacefully if we eat a healthy and balanced diet, sleep 8 hours a day and practice sports. Physical activity is medicine for the mind!💪🏻

  • 🙋♀️ "The Echo of Women Mountaineers" is a super creative project realized by #PelagonaPrva. ✊ This association from Prilep is one of the five clubs/associations led by women that TAKT financially supported last year for the implementation of projects in the field of sports. 🎯 With this activity:  - We improved the visibility of women in mountaineering sports;  - Outdoor projects organized and led by women were valorized;  - We motivated girls and women to join mountain sports; - We created new views towards the female influence in the community; - We changed the perception and awareness of the local population about women mountaineers;  - We got to know the term hiking and what are the benefits for the mental and physical health of a person 😊 Read the blog of "Pelagona first" on the topic of increasing the influence and visibility of women in mountain sports and the community at the following link 👇 https://lnkd.in/dEG_EH86
