Sourcing & Procurement Manager (FMCG & Pharma)(APAC & International) (Yangon, Myanmar) Responsibilities : * Proficient in the procurement process, familiar with the FMCG & Pharmaceutical market, able to respond keenly to the shortage of global market supply and make corresponding procurement strategies. * To develop and implement category strategies for assigned sourcing categories. * Directly responsible to manage all regional supplier base located in APAC. * To support implementation of category strategies through regional sourcing initiatives. * Proactively evaluate, develop and quality assure the supplier base. * Responsible to negotiate prices, terms and conditions and set up agreements with key suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery and payment terms. Requirements: * Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline. * 5+ years working experience in merchandising or planning in supply chain, in Retail or Pharma or FMCG. * Strives to meet or exceed inventory turn goals and service levels. * Interfaces with other department heads and division personnel to accomplish job functions. * Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers, store operations, distribution center and division office personnel. * Reviews acquisition costs to ensure items purchased are at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need. * Assesses current inventory, growing conditions, seasonality, promotional activity and logistics situation to determine order quantities.
