It all started in 1975 in the construction sector. Soon after the business diversified into property development and in 1983 AX Group ventured into hospitality sector with the Sunny Coast 4 star complex in Qawra. Today the AX Group of companies is a household name in Malta. It’s synonymous to landmark constructions such as the Parliament in Valletta or restorations like the Birgu ditches. It operates 6 hotels under the AX hotels brand, manages the first retirement village in Malta with Hilltop Gardens and Simblija Care Home and is the leading shareholder in the Valletta Cruise port and Valletta Waterfront.
