Here is a glimpse of the community activities that the Guardian has initiated to collect in-depth data to inform our future social plan for the localities of Safi, Żurrieq, and Kirkop. 🌟 Empowering Communities, One Space at a Time! 🌟 The first community-driven initiative for the Coproduction of Healthy, Secure, and Playful Spaces – A Collaborative Approach was a resounding success! This exciting milestone was led by the Gabriel Caruana Foundation during the vibrant Festa Familja event, hosted by the @Ħal-Safi Local Council. 🎨 Creativity Meets Community: Our team, represented by Raffaella Zammit and Martina Camilleri, had the privilege of listening to the voices of the community about their experiences with walking and cycling in their neighborhood. Children, with their boundless imagination, shared what makes them feel safe in public spaces—bringing their ideas to life through clay! 🤝 This initiative is part of a broader project spearheaded by Malta’s Guardian of Future Generations, chaired by Dr Rachael Marie Scicluna in collaboration with the @Sostenibilità and the Gabriel Caruana Foundation.
