We took a walk on site at our 35MW Menengai Geothermal Power Plant project in Kenya yesterday and were welcomed by smiles. It’s always inspiring to meet the people behind the work, and even more so to see the many women contributing to this project in different ways. From QS and Commercial Support to Cost Controller, Safety Officer, Chain Lady, HSE Admin, Storekeeper, and QAQC, there's growing opportunities for women in the energy sector.

Today, December 4, 2024, in observance of World HIV Awareness Day, we hosted a Health Screening and Awareness Event at our 35MW Menengai Geothermal Power Plant project in Kenya. This initiative was a step toward empowering our employees with the knowledge and tools to prioritize their health. Health is everyone’s responsibility. Raising awareness about HIV, TB, cancer, and other health risks helps break stigmas, encourages early detection, and promotes a culture of prevention. What we achieved today: ✔️ Over 80 employees participated, showing incredible engagement. ✔️ Free screenings for HIV, TB, breast and prostate cancer, and STI testing were provided, along with male and female condoms. ✔️ Health professionals led informative sessions on prevention, early detection, and available treatments. Healthy employees create stronger organizations and communities.

Good morning from Ghana! 🇬🇭 At the Ahafo North 161Kv Transmission Line project, our team is currently focused on stringing, sagging, and clamping both the OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) and conductors. This critical phase ensures the reliability and efficiency of the transmission line, bringing us one step closer to connecting more communities.

From integrating local content to driving renewable energy solutions, our projects are designed to create long-term value, reduce carbon footprints, and ensure energy reliability. With flagship initiatives in the pipeline, such as hybrid and PV systems for C&I, and strong partnerships, including women leaders collaborating for impact, we’re shaping a cleaner, more sustainable energy landscape.
