Rencontrez Sooraj : Un membre clé de la Tribu Winners ! 🌟 Ce mois-ci, nous sommes ravis de vous présenter le témoignage de Sooraj, au cœur de l’évolution de Winners depuis 1994. 🌟 Je suis resté chez Winners toutes ces années grâce à l’accompagnement précieux de M. Jimmy Siew et Bernard Ah Ching, qui m’ont permis de grandir professionnellement. Parmi mes meilleurs souvenirs, l’ouverture de Winners Chemin Grenier en 1994 et la fameuse promotion "Bel Bel Caddie" ont marqué mes débuts dans l’entreprise. J’ai aussi eu la chance de suivre un programme de six mois en leadership et négociation à Charles Telfair, ce qui a enrichi mon parcours.  Depuis mes débuts, j’ai vu Winners évoluer de manière impressionnante, passant de son premier magasin en 1994 à 25 aujourd’hui, dont les hypermarchés de Trianon et Tribeca. Cette évolution s’est accompagnée de changements symboliques, comme le passage du logo à la couleur verte et un accent mis sur le développement des collaborateurs. Winners est ainsi une entreprise qui offre une carrière pleine de découvertes positives et de croissance, tant sur le plan professionnel que personnel. #onesttouswinners #winnerstribe #30ans

At Winners, we know that learning is easier when basic needs are met. To support young students, we partnered with Les Moulins de la Concorde for Le Pain du Partage 🥖, a special coconut brioche created for World Bread Day 🌍 In just 10 days, 9,497 loaves were sold, raising Rs. 47,484 to provide fresh pastries 🥐 for 1,340 students across four ZEP (Priority Education Zone) schools. Seeing their joy was truly heartwarming ❤️ This project shows our commitment to our community and to making a difference for young learners 🎒📚. 🌟 Meet Ramadoo Jessen : A Key Member of the Winners Tribe! 🌟  This month, we’re excited to introduce Jessen, our talented Accounting Operation Manager. Let’s dive into some insights he shared with us! 1.What led you to pursue a career in accounting?   Accountants play a crucial role in the financial health of organizations. I have been motivated by the desire to help businesses manage their finances effectively and contribute to their overall success. This field requires ongoing education and professional development, which leads to continuous learning and career growth. 2.What’s the most rewarding aspect of managing accounting operations for a large company like Winners?  Managing accounting operations often involves working closely with various departments, such as finance, operations, commercials and supply chain. This collaborative environment allows me to engage with diverse teams and contribute to broader business objectives. Leading a team and fostering their development has been the most rewarding experiences. Helping them to grow professionally and seeing their achievements is deeply satisfying. 3.What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your role, and how did you overcome it?  𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗥𝗣 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 The company decided to upgrade its ERP system to improve efficiency, enhance reporting capabilities, and better support decision-making. However, this transition posed significant challenges, including resistance to change from staff, potential data integration issues, and the need for comprehensive online training on the new system.  Throughout the transition, I maintained open lines of communication, encouraging team members to provide feedback and report any challenges they encountered. Regular check-ins helped create a sense of support and collaboration.  This challenge not only tested my management and leadership skills but also enhanced my ability to navigate complex projects and foster a culture of adaptability within the team. 4.If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?  Japan. The country offers a unique blend of traditional culture and modern innovation, making it a fascinating destination. From the serene temples and historic sites in Kyoto to the bustling streets of Tokyo filled with technology and pop culture, there's so much to explore. Overall, Japan’s rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes would make it an unforgettable travel experience 5.What’s a hidden talent or skill you have that might surprise your colleagues?  Playing Guitar. After a stressful week, playing guitar help me to enlighten the mood and provide a moment of relief and enjoyment.  May be one day I can play a song during music day to surprise my colleagues. #onesttouswinners

As a breast cancer survivor herself, Shamima’s journey is one of immense bravery and perseverance. 🌸 In this emotional interview, she opens up about her personal battle with the disease and how it inspired her to create an association that supports those affected by breast cancer in Mauritius. Her message is clear: early detection saves lives. Shamima reminds us of the importance of self-examinations and regular check-ups.
