In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my father playing me Beethoven’s 5th symphony on vinyl. I must have been about five years old. Played it on repeat for days. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin IV (Remastered) OutKast, Aquemini The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) It's impossible to choose just three.. every day will be a different three. But today I'll say The Beatles - Abbey Road, Outkast - Aquemini and Led Zeppelin IV. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “7 Years” At the moment I'm fond of "7 Years". It's the first song I self produced.. during a very difficult time and it represents triumph over all that adversity. And it makes me feel good.. like I’m wandering on a beautiful mountain path on a crisp day. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There have been so many somewhat blurry and somewhat memorable moments. This answer also changes daily. Perhaps opening for Tori Amos at the theatre at Madison Square Garden.. or maybe hearing my own song while dancing at Pacha in Ibiza. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, now that I'm producing my own music, I can think of a host of artists I’d love to work with. But perhaps best to keep such dreams to oneself while one is manifesting. I've never been big in Japan and that seems like it would be fun too, though.
