The second album from Mosaic MSC is edgy and entrancing, like their hometown of L.A. Inspired by electro-pop and alt-rock, the worship band create flickering anthems that unite the universal with the intimate. “Heartbeat” nestles a yearning for God’s love inside synth squiggles and fizzy percussion, and on the charmingly simple “Never Stop”, faith is defined as unconditional over a swirling dance groove. Vocalist Mariah McManus delivers an abundance of arresting moments, including her breathy meditation on Jesus’ love in the ethereal title track.
