Originally released as internet singles, the tunes on Prabh Deep's new EP are proof that there's more to his hip-hop stye than just lyrical bars. He’s got that too, of course, but he also leans on Hashbass for synth and bass duties on four out of six tracks as well as keyboardist Archit Anand on "Maya". Prabh coolly struts his way through the lo-fi sounds of "Kala" and "Amar", using the opportunity to take a swipe at the double standards of the world around him. His flow heats up on "Hira", and "King" kicks off with a dark trap intro that surprisingly swerves into an energising, soulful chorus.
