About Metro Station
Metro Station is an alternative-rock band formed in Los Angeles by singer Mason Musso and guitarist/bassist Trace Cyrus. ∙ The pair met in 2006 on the set of Hannah Montana, which starred Musso’s brother Mitchel and Trace’s sister Miley. ∙ In 2008, their pop-punk single “Shake It” reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 and was a hit in the UK, Canada, and several other countries. ∙ The video for Metro Station’s 2008 single “Seventeen Forever”—which included cameos by Mitchel Musso, Miley Cyrus, and Billy Ray Cyrus—has more than 12 million views. ∙ Emo-pop anthem “Where’s My Angel” was recorded for the chart-topping 2010 soundtrack album Almost Alice, a collection of songs inspired by Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. ∙ After breaking up in 2017, Metro Station reunited and released the power-pop social-media lament “I Hate Society” in 2020.
