About Riley Pearce
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Busking at local farmers markets was always a highlight of my teenage years. I met so many incredible people and really learnt to love music and the power it had to connect and brighten people’s days. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Howard, Every Kingdom Gregory Alan Isakov, Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony Leif Vollebekk, Twin Solitude 'Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra' transports me to the crowd in such a wonderful way. 'Twin Solitude' got me through a lot of early morning drives and 'Every Kingdom' had such an impact on me starting to write my own songs. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Time's Eyes” Time’s Eyes is one of my favourites. More so for the message it holds. I wrote it as a little reminder to myself that whenever I’m doubting myself or where I’m at with my music at any given point in time that things will work out in the end. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I put together a tour back in winter 2019 where all the shows were in interesting venues that weren’t typical live music venues. Everyone brought rugs, blankets, food and drink and it was the most cosy and heartwarming shows I’ve done to date. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’m very grateful that I’m able to work in music at all. I’d be happy if I’m just able to continue to write and release songs and earn a living from that. I’d love to see a show at Red Rocks, playing there would be a dream.
