Skinny Hightower

Skinny Hightower, aka Jason Carroll, is an adept drummer, pianist, and bassist known for his sophisticated crossover jazz sound. He issued a self-produced album, Cloud Nine, before signing with Trippin 'n' Rhythm Records for 2017's Emotions, which featured the smooth jazz hit "Taboo." Following 2018's Retrospect, he scored another number one with the title track off 2020's Blue Moon. He has remained a smooth jazz chart regular with albums like 2023's Mind Over Matter and 2024's The Man.
