The Subs

About The Subs

A Belgian dance group known for their explosive, unhinged live shows, the Subs play energetic club anthems blending electro, rave, punk, and trance. They formed in Ghent in 2006, and hit the Belgian charts in 2008 with their breakthrough hit "Kiss My Trance," which appeared on their debut album, Subculture. The group collaborated with Selah Sue and dEUS' Tom Barman on the 2011 single "Zanna," which topped the Belgian charts. Following its success, their music evolved into a more soulful, U.K. bass-influenced sound with 2014's Hologram, their third album. They released the compilation A Decade of Dance 2006-2016, and have continued releasing singles including 2020's "I Want to Dance Again" and 2021's "Rave Cloud." UNDEAD, an EP mainly consisting of covers, was released in 2023, and The Pulse EP (with Amber Broos) followed in 2024.
