Thunderheist

Canadian electronica duo Thunderheist features Toronto native MC Isis and Montrealer Grahm Zilla on production. Zilla and Isis met on the Internet, where they began collaborating by sending each other MP3s. Their duo gained attention when their single “Jerk It” appeared on the soundtrack to the film THE WRESTLER. The group’s self-titled full-length debut, released in 2009, properly introduced their indie-dance aesthetic, in which MC Isis raps and sings over Zilla’s dense, inventive tracks.
