In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around the age of three, I used to climb up on my grandmothers piano chair. While many other children often play randomly at the piano, I used to carefully select notes that resonated with each other and myself. That became the start of my language. Tell us why you chose this song. “Worlds Collide” To me this track is a retrospect to our youth, where the seriousness was non-existent, and the playfulness was in the centre. The title is meant to be you in your current world, colliding with the reminiscence of younger days. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment so far was one of those early moments. In the midst of an early performance I completely forgot where I was. Instead I started to improvise, and suddenly found myself totally present for the first time.
