Youngn Lipz

Australian rapper and singer Youngn Lipz broke through in 2019 with his melodic fusion of hip-hop and R&B. • Youngn Lipz started out posting videos of himself singing on social media. These caught the attention of Biordi Music Group owner Lowkee, who reached out to sign him. YL’s debut single, 2019’s “Misunderstood”, arrived soon after. • He followed “Misunderstood” with a handful of additional singles and high-profile features on the Australian remixes to British singer S1mba’s “Rover” and American rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s “Mood Swings”. • Youngn Lipz is of Pacific Islander descent, and he grew up in the Cabramatta suburb of Sydney, known for its multiculturalism.
