Sydney's Boy & Bear had barely pressed pause on recording their debut EP, With Emperor Antarctica, when they were taken under the wing of visiting tourists Mumford & Sons and Laura Marling. The move suddenly catapulted the mellow outfit to the forefront of the international indie folk-rock movement of the early '10s. They've since broadened their sound while maintaining an emphasis on rich harmonies, producing two lush and sophisticated rock albums along the way: 2011's Moonfire and 2013's Harlequin Dream.
