An impish prankster with an unerring hand, Stefan Kozalla is in a league of his own. The German electronic producer has worked under many aliases—including Monaco Schranze and Adolf Noise—but DJ Koze is his most beloved project. The former hip-hop DJ got his start in the late '90s in the offbeat dance pop trio International Pony, and he found fame in the '00s with a string of floor-filling singles and eccentric LPs for Kompakt. He launched the Pampa label in 2010, signing Isolée and Robag Wruhme, and has shown his sentimental side with starry-eyed remixes for Herbert and Moderat.
