About DJ Dahi
DJ Dahi is the stage name of Dacoury Dahi Natche, an Ivorian-American DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his work with such artists as Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller. ∙ A native of Inglewood, California, he first began DJing while attending college at UC Santa Cruz. ∙ DJ Dahi’s big break came in 2012, when rapper DOM KENNEDY tapped him to produce his single “My Type of Party.” ∙ He produced Kendrick Lamar’s 2012 hit “Money Trees,” which sold more than a million copies in the US alone. ∙ Big Sean’s 2014 single “I Don’t F**k With You,” which DJ Dahi produced, sold over five million copies and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. ∙ “Self Care,” Mac Miller’s DJ Dahi-produced single, was a No. 18 hit on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in 2018. ∙ In 2020, he produced 9 of the 12 tracks on Childish Gambino’s album 3.15.20, which climbed to No. 13 on the Billboard 200.
