About Play-N-Skillz
Play-N-Skillz is the award-winning duo of hip-hop, pop, and dance producer/rapper brothers Juan (“Play”) and Oscar (“Skillz”) Salinas. ∙ After DJing house parties around their native Dallas, the pair broke out in 2004 with their production work on Lil’ Flip’s hugely successful sophomore album, U Gotta Feel Me. ∙ Play-N-Skillz’s 2004 single “Freaks”—featuring Krayzie Bone and Adina Howard—rose to No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100. ∙ The duo produced Chamillionaire’s Grammy-winning, chart-topping 2006 single “Ridin’” (featuring Krayzie Bone) and Lil Wayne’s hit “Got Money,” from his landmark 2008 album Tha Carter III. ∙ The pair’s reggaetón remake of Selena’s massive 1994 single “Si Una Vez (If I Once)”—featuring Frankie J, Becky G, and Kap G—was a No. 1 iTunes hit in 2017. ∙ They produced Daddy Yankee & Snow’s international hit “Con Calma”—which rose to No. 1 in over 20 countries and topped two of Billboard’s Latin-music charts in 2019.
