Moving freely between hip-hop and dance, Melbourne producer Swick is known for tight-knit rhythms spiked with snappy vocal hooks and sudden kinetic twists. That razor-sharp dynamism landed him a 2013 team-up with Diplo, with a prominent sample of their earworm collab “Dat a Freak” guiding the 2014 Jennifer Lopez hit “Booty” (including separate versions featuring Iggy Azalea and Pitbull). Swick continued to flex his cooperative prowess on his guest-studded 2018 mixtape Court Composer, and he has since helmed tracks for international rappers like M.I.A. and Spank Rock as well as varied Aussie talent like Tkay Maidza, Gold Fang, Big Skeez, and Kota Banks. He reliably globe-trots at will, working with Swedish rapper Lilla Namo, French producer King Doudou, and Argentinian Spanish singer Ms Nina.
