Jacquees has never been subtle about the sort of R&B he makes, but he leaves absolutely zero to the imagination. Just because the smooth-singing star from Decatur, Georgia, isn’t bashful, though, doesn’t mean that Baby Making lacks complexity. Sometimes Jacquees examines his desires and urges with fascination and genuine curiosity. Other times? Well, other times, he just likes to sing about all the ways he’s ready to get down. Opener “Touchdown” doesn't even hit the 30-second mark before Jacquees requests his partner to get ready for his arrival. “Your towel/Wrapped around you right now, take it off your waist,” he croons. On “When I’m Around Her”, he gets quite graphic, but not before he admits that there’s far more to this love than sex: “And when I'm around her, I feel confident/It's like she's the only one who got some common sense.”
