Emerging from the shadow of Zaytoven and Southside, ATL Jacob forged his own path to status as one of Atlanta's most accomplished trap producers. Born Jacob Denzal Canady in 1998, the Atlantan's professional career began at age 14, when Future bought a beat of his for $10,000. Since then, ATL Jacob has produced for folks from across the industry, whether it's 21 Savage, A Boogie wit da Hoodie or Nicki Minaj. While the tone of his beats can oscillate between sinister and luminously lush, they're unified in their meticulous craft. ATL Jacob attained new levels of fame with his work on Kodak Black's anthemic "Super Gremlin", which hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The next year, Future's Drake-assisted, ATL Jacob–produced "WAIT FOR U" hit No. 1 on the chart, crystallising Jacob's status as one of the more consistent hitmaking producers of his generation.
