Los Angeles duo Crushed make dream pop songs unabashedly modeled after a wide range of '90s influences. Their woozy, nostalgic sound recalls the melodic gracefulness of the Sundays, the blurry distortion of My Bloody Valentine, and the kind of block-rocking beats that were powering indie/radio crossover hits circa 1996. After releasing their debut EP Extra Life in 2023, Crushed signed to Ghostly International, which reissued the EP in 2024 with bonus material.
