From the Replacements to Hüsker Dü on down, Minneapolis is a city that’s inspired some of the best hum-along 3-chord rock, and Dillinger Four carries on the tradition with pride. While pop-punk exploded in The Bay Area and New Jersey in the mid-90s, Dillinger Four launched their first salvos in a barren landscape. Defiantly regional, their MIDWESTERN SONGS OF THE AMERICAS successfully combined Minnesota bluster, hardcore tempos, and Ramones buzzsaw pop for maximum effect. Still going strong in a world populated by their platinum-selling offspring, they continue to record and tour.
