In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember as a young lad in my grand parents house, they had an old upright wooden piano. It was very dark wood. I would always go and sit and tinkle on the keys trying to understand the magic behind this amazing machine. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Atlas Ocean, Cloud Dreams OK Chamomile, Kuraokami (Rain for Relaxation) OK Chamomile, Phases Of Change All three of these albums have helped me stay calm and relaxed during a rough time in my life . I also love being able to have the natural sounds drown out the city traffic around my area. These albums have been both healing and soothing for my life. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rise Above” This song was written during a hard time in my life. I was struggling with my identity and needed to find a way to help me rise above the challenges and help myself grow by being more kind to myself. Patience and commitment is important for growth. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was definitely when I arrived at a waterfall in Sedgefield to record nature ambiences. I saw the most beautiful sunrise and spent the day in nature. It was a magical moment that had a profound effect on me. Music can take you places! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to go to Japan and record ambiences in their forests as-well as the sounds of monks chanting. There are so many amazing places to see. I want to get lost in the Japanese world and way of life. Japan has always been an inspiration to me.
