Kihyun

As a member of the K-pop act Monsta X, Yoo Ki-hyun -- more commonly known as Kihyun -- helped send four albums to the Korean number one spot between 2017 and 2020. In 2015, the same year that Monsta X formed, Kihyun also began releasing his own material -- often for use on TV soundtracks -- and their careers ran simultaneously. Whereas Monsta X's music often pushes bombastic EDM and hip-hop influences to the fore, Kihyun's pop-focused solo material is usually more tempered. In 2022, he released his debut solo EP, Voyager, and each of its tracks hit the Top Ten of the U.S. world chart.
