In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Recording our first English hiphop single Smooth flow in 1998 at Take One Studios in Colombo. And in 2004 recording Sri Lanka's first Tamil rap song J Town Story. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coolio, Gangsta's Paradise Fugees, The Score (Expanded Edition) Nas, Illmatic One of the first hiphop albums I ever listened to was from Coolio. The score was one of my biggest inspirations for writing original rap. Nas is one of my favourite rappers of all time, finally saw him live in 2023. Tell us why you chose this song. “Vendum Vendaam” One of my best rap performances I would say and the best lyricist I worked with on this project that was able to translate my vision into words.
