That day I saw Run DMC's Rock Box music video playing, which changed my life. I had listened to hip-hop before, but this was my first time seeing it in real-time. Eric B. & Rakim, Paid In Full Expanded Nas, Illmatic Redman, Dare Iz A Darkside Nas 'Illmatic' redefined how to make a perfectly produced hip-hop album. Eric & Rakim 'Paid In Full' reshaped hip-hop lyricism and changed how people rhymed going forward. Redman's Dare Iz A Darkside' is dark, sporadic, and yet still incredible. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fountain of Youth” I wrote this song about maturing and "growing old" at a time when I wasn't sure if anyone else could relate to it. It became one of my most popular songs but it also showed me that honesty and vulnerability in music are necessary.
