Year of the Knife

An uncompromising straight-edge hardcore unit based out of Newark, Delaware, Year of the Knife deliver a punitive blast of left-leaning classic hardcore with death metal influences. After establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the underground, the band inked a deal with Pure Noise and issued the compilation Ultimate Aggression in 2019. The group continued to confront loss, grief, and addiction on 2020's ferocious Internal Incarceration and 2023's cathartic No Love Lost, the latter of which arrived after a devastating van accident.
