Top 100 2024: Shazam Radio Chart: Pop

All year long, Shazam’s music recognition technology tracked what songs were being played on radio stations around the world. (That’s nearly 1 million hours of music each day, broadcasting on more than 40,000 stations from Sacramento to Stockholm to Seoul.) Five of the year’s 25 most-played pop songs belonged to Dua Lipa, including three from her third studio album, Radical Optimism. Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” stayed in heavy rotation, while the award for the year’s biggest pop breakthrough goes to Sabrina Carpenter, who ends 2024 with three songs on the list.
