Following the release of his first two solo, post-Beatles albums, Paul McCartney formed the band Wings with wife Linda, along with Denny Laine and Denny Seiwell. After releasing two albums and the hit theme song to the James Bond film Live and Let Die, the band went through a line-up change and released their third record, Band on the Run. It was a worldwide hit, and proved that McCartney was more than his former band. Wings would release one more album before quietly disbanding in 1981.
