Israeli jazz pianist Yaron Herman has juggled lofty comparisons to Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau with a taste for Radiohead and Britney Spears since he began recording in France in the early '00s. Something of a teen prodigy, he went on to make five albums in his 20s, collaborating with violinist Adam Baldych, interpreting Dizzy Gillespie and Björk and cowriting with his trio. His signature warm, playful tone and meditative elegance can be felt throughout his music.
