Oba Reengy

Better known as Oba Reengy, Jesusomitodun Oladimeji Peters is a Yoruba rapper and singer from Nigeria. Hailing from the Ekiti region, Reengy began releasing his own material around 2013. He eventually settled in Lagos, where he kept making music devoted to inspiring others, mixing Afrobeat and hip-hop with spiritual, uplifting messages. After several years of hard work, he managed to make a name for himself in the Nigerian Christian scene thanks to numerous singles, concerts, and collaborations. He has also released several EPs, including two volumes of the series Sounds of Life with Rehmahz, as well as the albums Afrogospel Compilation (2021) and Aware (2022).
