Montreal's Geoffroy makes modern Art&B with a pan-cultural flavour, a fusion that has an obvious antecedent in the globally sourced pop of Paul Simon circa Graceland. But Geoffroy finds more contemporary kinship with the after-hours hip-hop confessionals of Post Malone, the open-road indie rock of The War on Drugs and the dramatic electro-soul of SOHN.
