If there’s one British guitarist looser than Keith Richards, it’s Ron Wood. Of course, The Rolling Stones brought him into the fold in the mid-’70s, using his ramshackle slide work and riffs on singles like “You Got Me Rocking”, “She’s So Cold” and others. He’s also recorded extensively with Rod Stewart (Wood’s scrappy acoustic picking can be heard on “Maggie May”) and The Jeff Beck Group, with whom he actually held down the bass slot.
