About Tone Stith
R&B singer Tone Stith broke into the mainstream with a pair of cowrites for Chris Brown and has since gained fame with his own releases and collaborations as a solo artist. ∙ As part of the teenage R&B trio SJ3, he released The School Years in 2011 and garnered industry attention with an online cover of Justin Bieber’s “Heartbreaker” in 2013. ∙ For Chris Brown’s Platinum-selling 2015 LP, Royalty, Stith cowrote and coproduced the songs “Make Love” and “Liquor” (which hit No. 3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart). ∙ He collaborated with Grammy-winning rapper 2 Chainz on the song “Light Flex” from the soundtrack to the 2018 sports comedy Uncle Drew. ∙ Good Company, his 2018 EP, included a guest appearance from Ty Dolla $ign on “Take It There,” while Quavo and Swae Lee featured on the title track.
