Though Def Leppard's towering legacy may ultimately be based on an incredible run of '80s pop-metal singles, there's so much more packed into the corners of their gorgeously produced albums. Hard-rocking early cuts like “Stagefright”, “Mirror Mirror (Look Into My Eyes”) and “Another Hit and Run” are as infectious as they are plentiful, showing a band that was nearly incapable of writing filler. As their sound shifted in the '90s, they brought more maturity and introspection to some of their more overlooked material, as evidenced by the moody “Desert Song” and adult-contemporary ballad “Miss You in a Heartbeat”.
