But what some fans of that mega-hit and other turn-of-the-century smashes might not know is that Ponte is an acclaimed and skilful DJ and producer in his own right. The Turin native can count a string of top-10 singles in his homeland as a solo artist. And he’s collaborated widely, too, with the likes of Aloe Blacc, Datura and Timmy Trumpet. Expect huge club energy and electro house rhythms in bangers such as “Destination Infinity, “We Could Be Together” and a cover of Blondie’s disco-rocker “Call Me”.
