Karwaan (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Directed by Indian theatre doyen Akarsh Khurana, Karwaan is a quirky tale of three travellers whose unlikely road trip leads to friendship—and which draws much of its heart from the unique music that accompanies it. Indie darling Papon delivers an instant favourite with the Hinglish love song "Heartquake", while modern-day troubadour Prateek Kuhad's poignant turn on "Kadam" ranks among the singer-songwriter's very best. Most impressively, Saba Azad's seductive vocals are a perfect fit for the sinuous jazz-pop stunner "Bhar De Hamaara Glass".
