The son of renowned composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan, Shivam Mahadevan is a playback singer who’s making an impact all his own. • Shivam was born to Shankar and Sangeeta Mahadevan. His father is one-third of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who have scored over 50 Indian films. • Shivam learning classical singing at the age of nine, under the close tutelage of his father. He also took lessons with local singer Saili Kalyanpur. • By the age of 12, Shivam was performing on soundtracks like the 2012 animated film Delhi Safari and the 2013 action-thriller Dhoom 3. • Shivam’s older brother, Siddharth, is a playback singer and composer known for performing rock music. • One of Shivam’s biggest successes was his passionate work on the first season of TV series Bandish Bandits, which introduced him to a wider audience.
