Following the continued success of their live shows, Pete Tong and Jules Buckley’s Heritage Orchestra deliver a second album of symphonic retreads of dance-music classics. Once again, they produce consistently stirring treatments, whether they’re purifying Massive Attack’s “Unfinished Sympathy” into an aching sweep of strings and Samm Henshaw’s love-scarred voice or injecting extra orchestral punch into the Chemical Brothers’ “Galvanize”. The best track is arguably the most unlikely, with the Heritage Orchestra weaving themselves smoothly into the frenetic, cosmic mayhem of The Prodigy’s “Out of Space”.
