About Bankroll Freddie
Arkansas rapper Bankroll Freddie is on a mission to put his overlooked home state on everyone’s radar. • Freddie’s remix of Lil Baby’s “Freestyle” garnered more than 100K views. Among those who saw it was Pierre “P” Thomas, CEO of the Atlanta label Quality Control. • In 2019, Thomas reposted Freddie’s remix of “Act Up”, the popular 2019 single by Quality Control signees City Girls. Thomas then booked Freddie a flight to Los Angeles and promised to sign the rapper if he started taking music seriously. • Fired up, Freddie returned home and released his first project, Saved by the Bales, that same year. The viral single “Drip Like Dis” confirmed that he was ready to work. • Quality Control signed Freddie in 2019 and released his debut album, From Trap To Rap. The album includes a “Drip Like Dis” remix featuring Young Dolph and Lil Baby.
