Dima Slobodeniouk

Conductor Dima Slobodeniouk's performances reveal his Scandinavian education and Russian roots, but he has not limited himself musically. Slobodeniouk emerged as a major force in the late 2010s with high-profile posts and appearances across Europe and the U.S. Based in Finland, Slobodeniouk has been the music director of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia since 2013. In 2024, he led that group on a recording of the Symphony in C and other works by Stravinsky.
