About Emmanuele Baldini

Violinist Emmanuele Baldini has an international reputation but is especially well known in Brazil, where he has lived since 2005. He is also active as a conductor. Baldini served as concertmaster with the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna and the Orquestra Sinfónica de Galicia, among others. Most of Baldini's recordings have been as a violinist, and he began his recording career in 1997 with a recording of violin sonatas by Franck and Albéric Magnard. His accompanist on that album was his father, Lorenzo Baldini. Emmanuele Baldini moved to Brazil in 2005 and has been especially active there, serving as concertmaster of the São Paulo State Symphonic Orchestra (OSESP) and also founding the OSESP Quartet. Baldini has made more than 15 albums, issuing the album José Antônio de Almeida Prado: Works for Violin and Cello in 2024.
