About Giulia Nuti

Harpsichordist Giulia Nuti has taught at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, performed as a soloist and in ensembles, and recorded for several major labels. She is also the author of The Performance of Italian Basso Continuo, a major book on continuo technique. Nuti made her recording debut in 1999 with the ensemble Modo Antiquo, playing harpsichord on an album of concerti grossi by Corelli. Nuti frequently performed with such groups as Il Pomo d'Oro and Orfeo 55. In 2014, Nuti released her debut solo album, Les Sauvages: Harpsichords in pre-Revolutionary Paris, which was awarded the Diapason d'Or in France. She earned the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik for her 2017 album Le Cœur & l'Oreille: Manuscript Bauyn. Nuti returned in 2022 with The Fall of the Leaf: English Keyboard Music on the Rucellai Virginal.
