Jacob Mühlrad

Composer Jacob Mühlrad has seen his works performed in many countries by leading orchestras and choirs. He has also collaborated with pop musicians. Mühlrad experienced success in his early twenties with the choral work Anim Zemirot (2013). When he was 24, he became the youngest composer ever to have his music performed at the Royal Swedish Opera. Mühlrad received nonmusical recognition when Elle magazine named him Sweden's best-dressed man in 2019. On the pop side, he has worked with the electronic music supergroup Swedish House Mafia. Mühlrad's debut as an orchestral composer came in 2021 with REMS, commissioned by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic. Mühlrad has also written film music and his recording debut came in 2022 with the soundtrack album for the film Burn All My Letters. The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic's recording of REMS appeared in 2023.
