Marion Jola

Despite placing sixth at the 2018 edition of Indonesian Idol, Kupang-born, Jakarta-based singer Marion Jola quickly became that season’s breakout star on the strength of her debut single, “Jangan”. The single, which features Indonesian rapper Rayi Putra (of pop group RAN), was produced by the Laleilmanino team, who went on to become her closest collaborators on Jola’s 2019 debut release, Marion. With her sparkling, funky bops, Jola has won the hearts of the Indonesian public in a big way.
